If you’ve got a new puppy, the chances are that you’re finding it a struggle.  Surprisingly sharp teeth, a lack of sleep and constant toileting troubles can leave you questioning your decision to add a puppy to your life.

Perfect Puppy Package

A 1:1 puppy training and support package, tailored to you and your pup.

An initial 1.5 hour consultation in the comfort of your own home
We will create a plan tailored to you and the training challenges you are experiencing with your puppy. We understand that every puppy and home environment is different, we don’t use a one size fits all consultation process. We listen to you and work on what is important to you and your situation. This visit will be scheduled during the first 2 – 3 weeks of your puppy’s arrival.

A written training plan including videos
This is a handy reminder of what to do and can also be shared with any other members of the family who might not be able to make it to the sessions.

A 1 hour in person coaching session
We can troubleshoot any challenges that arise and ensure your puppy is getting the best start. This session will take place within 4 weeks of your initial consultation.

A pragmatic plan of action!
You'll come away with a clear and realistic plan of how to raise your puppy.

Six weeks of email back-up
You will be supported with any questions or struggles throughout the process.

A deeper understanding of how you can help your puppy to get it right

I only use kind, ethical, fun and science-based methods. Your dog’s welfare is a priority and I believe that there’s no place for pain, intimidation or punishment in dog training.

Working with me on a 1:1 basis means that I can tailor my training approach to best suit you and your dog. I also offer a period of email back-up so that you feel fully supported.

  • We accommodate your preferred days and times whenever possible.

  • Unfortunately, there's no one-size-fits-all solution. It depends on various factors, including your commitment to making changes and your family's consistency.

  • Yes, we do. The location of your training session will be discussed with you when you book.


  • At Minds Alike, we're committed to fostering a deep understanding between dogs and their owners. Through our tailored training and behaviour programs, we enrich the lives of dogs by establishing a clear communication system between humans and canines, reinforcing positive appropriate behaviours, promoting self-control, and providing essential mental stimulation.

  • All of our trainers are ABTC registered Animal Training Instructors, or working towards their accreditation, adhering to a strict code of conduct that prioritises best practices, scientific methodologies, and modern training techniques.

  • We use science-based, kind, fair and effective training.

  • You will be invoiced via email and you can pay by bank transfer.

  • You will be sent these details once you have finished your current programme.

  • We can never guarantee results, as there are many factors involved. However, with the knowledge and techniques provided to you, you will be armed with everything you need to improve your dog's walking / recall.
