Young child with their puppy - Buckinghamshire and Hertfotrdshire

We’ve all read the stories or seen a film where a child and their dog are best friends who enjoy wonderful, exciting adventures together.

However, the reality of having a dog and children living together can be very different, and often challenging.  Don’t worry - we can help!

“The relational approach especially being put at ease from the start with a session that was a well balanced good mix of theory, real life examples, practice and pragmatism for both human and canine trainees. Our confidence was built.”

An initial 1.5 hour consultation in the comfort of your own home
We will create a plan tailored to you and the training challenges you are experiencing with your puppy and child/ children. We understand that every puppy, child and home environment is different, we don’t use a one size fits all consultation process. We listen to you and work on what is important to you and your situation.

A written training plan, including videos
This is a handy reminder of what to do and can also be shared with any other members of the family who might not be able to make it to the sessions.

A 1 hour in person coaching session
We can troubleshoot any challenges that arise and ensure your puppy is getting the best start. This session will take place within 6 weeks of your initial consultation.

A pragmatic plan of action!
You'll come away with a clear and realistic plan of how to raise your puppy alongside your children.

Clarity and fun for your children
Your children will know how they shouldn’t behave around the puppy but importantly they will also know what they can do to express their affection and enjoy playtime with their canine companion.

Six weeks of email back-up
You will be supported with any questions or struggles throughout the process.

A deeper understanding of how you can help your puppy and child(ren) to get it right
so that home life and training feels like fun, rather than a battle.
